Poitiers – City centre lighting

The aim was to preserve the day and nighttime atmosphere of the French city of Poitiers by avoiding lights that are too high, technical and visible or whose lighting is too present.
The project was based on two levels of lighting.
The first level of ‘invisible lighting’ is projected on to the building fronts to provide the desired overall lighting and the second level of ‘visible lighting’ is created using the specially designed Anello light.
This ‘domestic’ light provides soft lighting for all the squares and pedestrian areas.
