Living rooms (light alcoves).
These lights, like interior objects, punctuate the square with soft diffused light.
The LED lighting (Anello light) creates light alcoves around which ‘living rooms’ are structured.
The textured concrete benches and arm chairs, like their domestic counterparts, create giant living rooms in deliberate contrast to the square’s strict geometry. They provide areas to rest, exchange and discuss – in the day, under the shade of the plane trees; at night, with the illumination from the Anello ‘bedside light’.
